The following study focuses on the importance of the philosophical movement of Aristotelian Thomism for the development of the philosophical and legal sciences in general. The main objective was to make a presentation of this current of thought, in a way that sought to address, through a bibliographic research, the relevance of Thomism for the formation of an overview of this line of study of the philosophy of Law.
