Abstract

This essay is the result of the contents studied in the discipline "Messianic time as a philosophy of history in the work of Walter Benjamin", taught during the 2020.1 and 2020.2 semesters, by Prof. Dr. Juan José Bautista Segales, from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM. At the same time, it is a free dialogue with the text studied during the course: Thesis on the concept of history (2018, pp. 307, 318), as well as the reflections and meditations raised by this dense and profound work by the german thinker , of Jewish origin, Walter Benjamin. We hope with this humble essay to make ourselves a little worthy of the light with which the thought of these two philosophers illuminates our dark times and through the reading against the grain proposed by Benjamin, to find the keys to, from the mysticism of our native peoples, of good-live, from our roots, find ways out of the current system of extermination and death.
