The present study aims to map teacher health and the processes of illness resulting from the use of TDICs (Technologies of Digital Information and Communication) in teaching activities. This situation intensified after the COVID-19 pandemic with the effective implementation of distance education systems. The article will describe qualitative state-of-the-art research according to the thematic categorical analysis proposed by Minayo (2012). Method: The study was conducted with 18 publications found in qualified academic journal sites, which were analyzed and grouped into semantic cores in three categories: Teaching work and challenges of TDICs in educational practices; TDICs and teacher training; and TDICs and pedagogical-educational aspects. The results revealed that although health-related issues are underlying the discussions, they are not emphasized in the analyses, indicating a need for research that explores the relationships between work processes and teacher health.
