a study on the formation of the social human

Abstract

The aim of the study is to reflect on the influence of the game on the formation of social humans. The proposal is the result of observations that bodily practices, in general, are not recognized in contemporary society as an area of knowledge that effectively participates in the training of men. It is hypothetically accepted that the playful character present in bodily practices contributes to the naturalization of the game as a non-serious social activity and therefore, not considered an essential element in the process of formation of a social person. The research has a theoretical bibliographic character and is developed through the study of works by authors John Huizinga and Nobert Elias. The development of the study allowed us to verify that the individuals only fulfill themselves in society, however they need to be educated to socialize in the collective. The awareness of the game as a human premise enables its effective application as a formative element of social persons. Although, it is understood that there is a need for more studies that guide the pedagogical practices in this sense.
