The current society presents a picture of technological advances alongside a sharp increase in social inequalities. In this context, we must concentrate on issues related to haphazard environmental attacks that endanger the entire planet and, by extension, all living beings. The study sets to describe the limits and possibilities of environmental education experiences for the Adult Education students and their relationships with Environmental Education and Solid Waste. Methodologically, it is analytical empirical research with a qualitative approach (Minayo 2013), taking into consideration the subjectivity of the subjects in different situations in their social context. The didactic practices of adult education teachers on Environmental Education and reflecting on the students' perceptions, we noticed the challenges in adopting new views encompassing educational actions contextualized with the way of life of the subjects involved, providing awareness of environmental education and commitment to the importance of protecting the environment.
