Abstract

THE WORLD OF WORK IN THE 21^ST CENTURY: THE CASE OF WORKERS BY APPLICATION

ABSTRACT

This article aims to understand the forms of precariousness, exploration and control evidenced by application workers linked to passenger transport and food delivery technology companies, such as Uber, Uber Eats and Ifood. As a methodology, readings and discussions of bibliographic references were carried out, as well as articles and reports on the subject. Thus, this article brings a theoretical/practical discussion from the main references on the topic under debate and information collected in interviews with application workers. For this, it brought the discussion about the structural crisis of capital, productive restructuring, new morphologies and application workers with a focus to demonstrate the forms of precariousness of these workers.
