The study proposes to understand how the humorous discourse makes work resistance strategies to the new high school in comic strips published on Instagram. The theoretical apparatus that guides the investigation resides primarily in the Foucaultian Discourse Studies. The analysis comprises the examination of five posts taken from the profile @coletivoeducartum on the social network previously mentioned. It was possible to infer that the humorous discourse makes use of varied strategies to engender forms of resistance, such as sarcasm, irony, unexpected situations and the resumption of utterances already said before. These strategies allow us to glimpse that the NEM and the reform that instituted it are characterized by discourses considered as fallacious and alien to the Brazilian educational reality.
