THE ACTIVITY OF MINING OF SAND AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS IN RIVER ACRE

Abstract

This work has for purpose to show as this being degraded to the edges of the River Acre, in reason of drags them that they act in Rio Branco, as well as contributing for taking of decisions of on public managers the ambient question, in the direction to undertake measured that results in the preservation of the edges of the flowing related one. The verification in lease understood the methodology adopted for this work, through the conventional photograph taking and posterior analysis of cabinet. From the final analyses, it remained proven the inadequate occupation of the edges of the river Acre, culminating with the spalling of its ciliar bush, slope evolution, in reason of the bad adequacy of the used tubing, as well as the compacting of the ground with use of weighed machines, resulting in the intense erosive process of the edges and increasing the amount sediments in suspension.
