Abstract

The PET Group of the Undergraduate Geography (Undergraduate and Baccalaureate) courses at the Federal University of Acre (Ufac) has contributed to the excellent academic education and citizenship of the students. The tutoring allows the approach and constant dialogue between the tutor and the Petianos at different levels of formation, providing opportunities for collective practices articulated in teaching, research and extension activities directed to academic competence and responsibility, as well as social commitment, which seek the development and quality in undergraduate students' academic education. This generates positive impacts, such as the exchange of experience among academics, the reduction of dropout, as well as articulating practices both theoretical and methodological of geographical science, as well as the introduction to individual and collective research, reflecting on the contact with the community by extension and emancipatory search for PETians.
