About the Journal
Geadel is a biannual publication of the Study Group on Discourse Analysis and Language Teaching [Grupo de Estudos em Análise de Discurso e Ensino de Línguas] - Geadel, open to researchers and collaborators from the Brazil and abroad, who have interests in issues related to discourse analysis and language teaching. Includes in its areas of interest: Language Learning and Teaching, Teacher Education, Design and Evaluation of Language Teaching Materials, Critical Speech Analysis, Media and Multimodal Languages, Applied Linguistics, Educational Technology, Critical Literacy, Multiliteracies, Discursive Genres (Textual), Discourses, Cultures and Identities. The languages accepted for publication are: English, Portuguese, French and Spanish. All papers must have abstracts in Portuguese and English. Only unpublished contributions are accepted, which are not being submitted at the same time for another publication. Reviews will normally be commissioned, based on suggestions from responsible editors and editorial board.
