Abstract

The present work consisted in the creation of a videocast as a learning tool, for teaching electrochemistry and electrical circuits, in the interdisciplinarity of Physics and Chemistry in 3rd year high school classes. Addressing concepts of electrochemistry, the construction of a device in the laboratory that can provide enough electrical energy to run electronic devices and, involving concepts of physics regarding the studies of electrical circuits and their potential, is something innovative and challenging, even more so when it is proposed to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of an educational material designed and aimed at learning. Given the general objective, this research was characterized in a qualitative approach, a descriptive study about the implications of a videocast as a learning tool and this took place in 3 (three) steps: Construction of the videocast, availability to students and, by end, data collection. For electrochemistry contents, the use was between “Reasonable” and “Good”, while the teaching of Electric Circuits reached between “Good” and “Great”.
