The teaching of nature sciences with a focus on botanics, final years, through interpretative paths

Abstract

The main purpose to be investigated in this study is the reflection on the use of the forest and its trails as a means for teaching botany in the disciplines of Natural Sciences and Biological Sciences. Where the aim of this research is to discuss the theme of the use of interpretive trails and their importance for the teaching of Science and Biology in non-formal education spaces being carried out in different Brazilian states. A bibliographic research was carried out considering the contributions of authors such as among others, seeking to highlight the importance of interpretive trails that are carried out in non-formal spaces of education, where an excellent learning of botany outside the classroom, but also for the benefit of a good relationship between educator and student, as this activity involves a playful and relaxed nature, that is, staying far from being a teaching positivist where the student feels totally out of place, voiceless and completely unmotivated.
