ELABORATION OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL AND USE OF SOFTWARE IN THE MONITORING OF STRUCTURAL THEORY 1

The present work is characterized as a report of experience lived in the academic monitoring program, linked to the Pro-Rectory of Undergraduate (PROGRAD) of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). The experience presented in this report occurred between the period of 2019 and 2020 (in the semesters 2019.1 and 2019.2) and is the monitoring of discipline Theory of Structures 1, the course of Civil Engineering. The objective of this work is to demonstrate how the monitor can further improve the learning performance of students, with the use of technological tools and also with the elaboration of a didactic material to serve as a complementary bibliography to the course. The results expose that the monitoring should be maintained and improved, in view of the good feedback given by students, which encourages and motivates the qualified permanence of students, in addition to contributing to the professional training in the teaching area for the monitor.
