FILIAÇÃO GENÉTICA DO JAMINAWA NA FAMÍLIA LINGUÍSTICA PANO: APONTAMENTOS E CONSIDERAÇÕES

Abstract

There is a descriptive-interpretive view in this article talking about the studies of the Pano languages genetic organization focusing on the Jaminawa indigenous language, spoken in Acre and Amazonian territories. The initial objective of this work is to present, in a panoramic and exploratory way, by means of a bibliographic and documentary research, the main approaches derived from Historical Linguistics referring to the development of genetic trees that organize languages ​​with similar grammatical and sociogeographic characteristics and that, by extension, can be grouped to specific linguistic groups - in this case, organized in the Pano family, considered an isolated family. When submitting these approaches of genetic affiliation for languages ​​of the same linguistic family, similar issues and differences between the authors proposals were highlighted and, finally, as a result to be shown, a comparative table is presented that highlights the insertion of the Jaminawa language as belonging to the linguistic family concerned and, consequently, the differences between the genetic affiliation proposals developed by the authors under study.
