UTILIZAÇÃO DE APLICATIVO PARA ABORDAR AS CARACTERÍSTICAS GERAIS DAS AVES PARAIBANAS

Abstract

This work aimed to create an application to disclose and describe the general characteristics of the main birds of the state of Paraíba. The study was carried out in two municipal schools in the city of Esperança-PB. For the elaboration of the application (APP) we used the Android Studio platform (version 3.5.2). The brModelo program was used as a tool for system modeling, and resources from the Figma website for the graphic part of the application screens. Lucidchart was the tool used to produce the class diagram and use case diagram. Canva site tools were used to produce graphic design elements of images. The construction of the application database was done on the Firebase website. A Google form was used to apply the survey in schools. Using the modeling tools, it was possible to produce class diagrams and use case diagrams, and the conceptual model. According to the results obtained with the application of the questionnaire, it was observed that 89% of the students interviewed did not know what ornithology is. 42% of students interviewed said that the man has not been contributing to the extinction of birds. 22% said that the act of executing birds is the type of threat that man poses. 60% of respondents rated the APP as great. 98% believe that an application can alert the population about the problem, highlighting the level of acceptance of the idea of the APP.
