AVALIAÇÃO DOS IMPACTOS AMBIENTAIS NAS MARGENS DO RIO MACHADO NO PERÍMETRO URBANO

Abstract

This research deals with a diagnosis of the environmental impacts around the margins of Rio Machado, in the city of Ji-Paraná / RO. The analysis seeks to identify the causes of margin degradation by applying a rapid assessment protocol for environmental impacts. The employed methodology evaluates physical aspects of the environment, in which three points were defined for the protocol application. The results of the analysis show great degradation and environmental disturbance in the points, caused by anthropic activities which contribute to the compromise of the limits of the permanent preservation area, reducing its space due to the expansion of residential and commercial constructions around the margins. These elements attributed to the classification of the sections as, altered and impacted environmentally.
