Resumen

A presença da religião na internet está crescendo em todo o mundo. Este dossiê objetiva analisar como grupos religiosos e indivíduos empregam a mídia digital, como a religião é representada online e como novas tecnologias moldam a prática das religiões na contemporaneidade. Com artigos em diferentes línguas e focando em contextos diversos, este número especial explora os seguintes temas em relação à religião: autoridades, práticas, comunidades, conflitos e espiritualidades na era digital, com atenção teórica ao campo da religião e das mídias digitais.
