A INTERFERÊNCIA DO CAPITAL PRIVADO NAS ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS EM RONDÔNIA
A ESCOLA BRASÍLIA E O PROGRAMA ESCOLA DO NOVO TEMPO

A escola pública há tempos está sob crescente influência do discurso do empresariado, mais de sua cartilha neoliberal do que do seu capital em si. A partir da Conferência de Jomtien, realizada na Tailândia em 1990, onde houve a reunião de mais de uma centena de chefes de estado, para tratar sobre os rumos da educação para a próxima década, a abertura legal e moral para a interferência do setor privado na educação foi ali declarada. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho pretende analisar como os desdobramentos do discurso, naquele momento proferido, chega ao nosso contexto regional mobilizando setores da sociedade civil que inserem seus intelectuais orgânicos no setor público e, também, analisá-lo à luz do Programa Escola do Novo Tempo da Secretaria Estadual de Educação de Rondônia, que tem como principais coordenador e parceiro o Instituto Sonho Grande e o Instituto de Corresponsabilidade pela Educação – ICE, respectivamente.

Abstract: The public school has long been under the growing influence of the discourse of the business community – taking more from the neoliberal booklet than the actual capital involved in it. Since the Jomtien Conference, ocurred in Thailand in 1990 (when more than a hundred heads of state met to discuss the education paths for the next decade), legal and moral openness to private sector interference in education was recognized. This paper intends to analyze how the unfolding of the speech reaches the context of mobilizing sectors of civil society in the north of Brazil. These sectors insert their organic intellectuals in the public sector. The paper also aim to make an analyze of the Novo Tempo School Program of the State Secretariat of Education of Rondônia, coordinated by the Instituto Sonho Grande – with the participation of the Instituto de Corresponsabilidade pela Educação – ICE, respectively.
