This study analyzes the Natural Science skills outlined in the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for Primary and Secondary Education, assessing their alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN's 2030 Agenda. We aimed to identify potential ways of implementing these objectives in classroom practice through a qualitative approach, employing Bardin's Content Analysis methodology. Specifically, we searched for units within the NCF skills that directly mapped to each SDG. The results revealed that the NCF skills encompass a significant portion of the SDGs related to Natural Sciences. At the Primary School level, a notable emphasis was placed on SDG 12, focusing on Sustainable Production and Consumption. Conversely, Middle School focused more heavily on SDG 7, concerning Energy. While some SDGs weren't explicitly covered within the NCF framework, their inherent value necessitates their integration into pedagogical practice by teachers.
