Considering the presence of unfavorable nutritional indicators in Acre and that 94% of the state's population depends exclusively on the Unified Health System, the Municipal Health Plan (PMS) can beuseful as an instrument for analysis, planning and improvement of thepopulation's food and nutritional quality. This is a qualitative-quantitative study that carried out a documentary analysis of the PMS of municipalities in the State of Acre for the period 2022-2025. To characterize food and nutrition actions inserted in relevant contexts, 118 keywords were identified and searched, organized into 14 key terms in each of the PMS. It was possible to analyze 54.4% of the PMS. The most frequently found term was “Nutritional problems associated with obesity”, present in 91.7% of PMS, followed by “Health education” (33.3%), “Nutritional assessment” (25%) and “Micronutrient deficiencies and supplementation” (16.7%). The least frequent were “SAN”, “Technical documentation”, “Nutritionist”, “Food and nutritional education”, “Obesity control and prevention” and “Overweight and obesity” present in 8.3%. Other terms: “Breastfeeding”, “Malnutrition”, “SISVAN” and “Intensive therapy” were not identified in relevant contexts. Almost half of the PMS were not available for consultation. Actions focused on combating and controlling overweight and obesity, but child malnutrition was neglected.
