Abstract

Considering the discussions in Brazilian education about the reconstructions of the country's curriculum, in theory the Common National Curriculum Base, this article aims to present the main results of possible approximations between the competencies and skills of the Complementary National Curriculum Parameters for High School and those of the Common National Curriculum Base for chemistry field. Using as a research methodology the content analysis of both texts in order to promote possible approximations. The main results were the identification of a strong relationship between the documents regarding the skills that refer to problem solving, as well as the construction of argumentation by the students, thus reinforcing in both texts the training of students as protagonists of the teaching process, based on the approximations, it was also possible to notice that both of them have similarities in terms of learning objectives.
