Abstract

This work is an excerpt from a research about the History of Science in Education and reports the mapping of productions on Marie Curie and/or radioactivity presented in the 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019 editions of the Brazilian National Education Research Meeting in Science (ENPEC). To make this mapping possible, the complete works present in the minutes of the events were searched using the keywords “Curie” and “radioactivity”. This was done with the help of the Google search tool, in order to ensure that the terms were found within the textual body and not only in the title or abstract. Twenty-five productions on Marie Curie and 59 on radioactivity were selected for discussion, among which the diversity of research and proposals, theoretical and empirical works at different levels of education was noticed. Above all, productions that essentially sought to promote adequate and contextualized thematic Science teaching.
