This work addresses reports of the application of the thematic workshop “Learning about solutions from the study of natural and industrialized juices.” The workshop was developed in the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarship (PIBID) of the undergraduate chemistry course at the Federal University of Sergipe, Professor Alberto Carvalho campus. The data presented were collected during an intervention at the Professor Nestor Carvalho Lima State School in October 2019. The content analysis by Bardin (2011) inspired the organization and analysis of the data. The results show that the workshop contributed to the construction and expansion of the critical opinion by students regarding the consumption of different types of juices and helped understand the chemical content of the solution.
