BETWEEN WORK AND STUDY: TRUANCY AS A COMPLEX PROBLEM
Abstract
ABSTRACT: With the present work aims to communicate the ideas set out in the framework of the research project entitled "Professional Education and avoidance: A look into the technical course of electrotechnique subsequent to the middle of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia", developed in the context of the Masters Program in Vocational and Technological Education - ProfEPT IFRO – in Campus Porto Velho Calama. The study had as its focus the investigation on the problem of school dropout in subsequent Technical Course in the Electrotechnics of IFRO - Campus Porto Velho Calama, was developed in the clipping of empirical educational unit, whereas the temporal delimitation between 2015 to 2018. The general objective of the study was to analyze, on the basis of institutional indicators, the main factors related to school dropout in that course..The study that subsidized the reflections presented here was developed in a qualitative approach, configuring it as exploratory-descriptive study. The data collection was performed based on bibliographic and documental research and empirically, by means of a questionnaire applied to managers, tabulated based on Lickert scale type. The central theory that embasedthe analyzes of the present study was of Complexity Theory, given its potential to enable a critical reading and comprehensive problem. The results indicated that truancy is a problem entered under the sign of the complexity - which involves intraescolares and cultural factors.
