Abstract

The study aimed to problematize the dialogues between initial training experiences of Geography undergraduate students at the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (IFES) - Nova Venécia Campus, and continued training of Geography teachers from the state education network of Espírito Santo and the county education network of Nova Venécia -ES, who served as interns and supervising teachers, respectively, in the Geography Subproject of the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program (Pibid). The qualitative research benefited from the Narrative Interviews Method and involved the application of closed questionnaires and the realization of semi-structured interviews with two teachers and four undergraduates. The importance of Pibid for the initial formation of the undergraduates was verified, above all, in what concerns the constitution of the teaching identity; and for the continued formation of the female teachers, due to the experiences of partnership lived in the scope of Pibid.
