Visões inadequadas sobre a ciência e o enfoque CTS: uma discussão sobre as concepções de pós-graduandos de uma IFES da região norte

Resumen

The conceptions of individuals about any theme related to Science are configured to research in the Chemistry Teaching. In this way, the focus of this project was to discuss the conceptions of postgraduates Chemistry students of a Federal Institution of Higher Education in the Northern Region about Science and relate to STS. Were analyzed the answers of 16’s students who accepted to participate in an interview, among the master’s and doctoral degrees students. The analysis discourses of the graduates were conducted based on the methodology of content analysis and inadequate views on science present in the literature, making it possible to identify their speeches the following views: Decontextualized view, Individualistic and Elitist view and the Rigid, Algorithmic and Infallible view. Inadequate views on Science and the STS approach: A discussion on the conceptions of graduate students of an IFES in the Northern Region.
