From natural regeneration it is possible to carry out an effective analysis that allows diagnosing the state of conservation of the fragments and their response to natural or anthropogenic changes in the environment. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze the floristic composition of natural regeneration in natural clearings, as well as classify the regenerating species according to the successional group in natural clearings in the Zoobotanical Park and, in this way, understand whether there is a need for interventions in the area. The study was carried out in three natural clearings in the Zoobotanical Park of the Federal University of Acre and the regenerating individuals were surveyed in the open transects to estimate the size of the clearing.
