Abstract

This article is concerned with investigating the quality of life of students at the Federal Institution Ifam – Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology, getting to know the difficulties faced by each student, with the aim of expanding the need for Campus Coari in search to understand the limitations specific faced by yours students, to better respond to the difficulties that affect the improvement of school learning, academic performance as well as general well-being. In view of this, investigate whether they seek access to basic services, variables in relation to the students socioeconomic conditions and their impact on the learning process. The methodology used consisted of applying an online questionnaire, answered by 62 students from IFAM Campus Coari, with closed and open questions about residence, eating habits, common illnesses and seeking medical care. Data collection took place between September and October 2023. The results were analyzed quantitatively and developed to understand the students' reality. It is concluded that it is important to take measures to improve students health, such as promoting healthy eating, and increasing awareness about available health services. Furthermore, it is emphasized that lack of healthy food is a significant factor that negatively impacts health and academic performance, making it essential to promote proper eating habits to ensure the well-being and academic success of students.
