Properties and changes in the physical state of matter: application of a sequence of activities in elementary school

This work aimed to bring an experience report on an application of an Activity Sequence (AS) to explore the theme and changes in the physical state of matter with elementary school students. The activities were developed with a 9th grade class from a State School in the city of Taipu, RN. The SA was structured in the dynamics of the Three Pedagogical Moments (TMP) the stages of initial problematization (Activities of states and collaborative changes of the subject), organization of knowledge (classes, studies and studies of maps) and application of knowledge (preparation of experimental videos and dissemination in social research). The general way about the studied AS is considered relevant to the students' learning process, its characteristics, the practical properties considered relevant to the students' learning process, its characteristics and practical properties for the science learning process. in basic education.
