The educational game is a teaching tool that can help students to learn Chemistry, combining playful and educational functions in the school environment. This work was developed during the Practice as a Curriculum Component (PCC) held in the 5th phase of the Licentiate Degree in Chemistry/IFSC - Campus Criciúma/SC. A role-playing game (RPG) didactic game called “Chemistry in War” was developed, as a proposal for application with high school students. In addition to addressing knowledge related to Organic Chemistry, it also presents aspects related to Environmental Education in a historical context, seeking the role of students in the situations presented throughout the game. The activity developed contributed to the initial training of academics, as in addition to studying the theoretical frameworks related to didactic games in teaching Chemistry, they developed, validated and socialized the game developed with the academic and external community, with a view to its future use in basic education.
