Chemistry in the stories: in focus the teaching of Chemistry

Abstract

Comics are increasingly present in the teaching of Chemistry. Through these, the student understands the concepts in a dynamic and effective way. This paper aims to report the development of the teaching project “La Química En Las Historietas” and its contributions to the teaching and learning process of first-year high school students integrated to Technical, in the subjects of Chemistry and Spanish. Observation was used as a methodology for analyzing the project developed. The results were satisfactory regarding the expansion of knowledge about the textual genre in comics; about learning scientific concepts; expansion of the lexical aspect, translation from Portuguese to Spanish. Through this, it was possible to develop skills for working in groups, accepting ideas, socialization and research, that is, the didactic resource allowed students to develop knowledge, be protagonists and still have fun.
