The Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID), has provided a significant experience so that future teachers can learn about the dynamics existing at school and inside the classroom, during training. This time, the present study aims to present the views of undergraduate students in Biological Sciences, on the relevance of PIBID, for the formation of the future professor of Biology. For this, the study used a field research methodology and then a qualitative analysis of the data, in addition, semi-structured questionnaires were applied to 20 students of the Biological Sciences course at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Acre - IFAC. Thus, the application of the questionnaire sought to understand aspects of students' different interests, such as: Aspect 1. Importance of PIBID for training; Aspect 2. Experience that PIBID brought to the future teacher; Aspect 3. Preparation for teaching. Furthermore, each question in the questionnaire had a value from 1 to 10 representing the degree of importance of the answers obtained. This study concludes that, based on the speech of the undergraduate students, PIBID is fundamental to the process of absorbing the teaching identity of the professor of Biology, in addition, the program provides students with a realistic view of teaching and the challenges evident in this profession.
