Game "Face to Face with Scientists": a didactic resource for teaching modern physics
Abstract
The present work proposes the use of the board game "Face to Face with Scientists" for the teaching of Modern and Contemporary Physics in high school (MS). Developed by fellows of the Institutional Program of Scholarships for Teaching Initiation (PIBID) of the Physics Degree course of the Federal University of Acre (UFAC), the activity was applied to 24 third-year students of a public school in Rio Branco/AC of integral education. The results regarding the application of the questionnaire and the observation of the proposed class show that such an approach is promising, in order to arouse the student's interest in the study of modern physics.
