Experience report: playful activity on heat propagation processes
Abstract
Physics is considered by many students to be a difficult subject. Therefore, it is necessary for the teacher to motivate student learning, using alternative methodologies. Within this conception, the work uses a playful activity for high school about the processes of heat propagation, with the objective of facilitating the teaching and learning processes. The work was developed through a qualitative research, in two classes of the second year of a public school in Rondônia. The content was presented, then a puzzle-like game was applied, and finally a questionnaire was applied. The results show that some students confused the irradiation and convection processes during the game, but managed to finish the assembly. The students participated effectively. In addition, it was possible to realize that working with games stimulated the students' interest, and can be characterized as a useful tool in physics classes.
