Avaliação do desempenho de métodos empíricos para a estimativa da evapotranspiração de referência em Rio Branco, Acre
Abstract
The objective of this work was to evaluate empirical methods of estimating reference evapotranspiration (ETo) for the municipality of Rio Branco-Acre, correlating nine estimation models, using the Penman-Monteith-FAO model, as an example: Conventional Meteorological, referring to the period from 1981 to 2006. A correlation between the estimated values of ETo, if there is no standard error of estimate (SEE), standard error of adjusted estimate (ASEE), standard error of weighting (SEEPond) and no coefficient of determination (r2) adjusted regression equations, correlation coefficient (r), confidence or performance index (c) and precision index (d). The results indicate that only the Turc model satisfactorily estimated an ETo for the region of Rio Branco, AC, with an excellent performance for daily data. The other models overestimated the reference evapotranspiration estimate in relation to the Penman-Monteith-FAO method, throughout the year.
