GAMEFICAÇÃO COMO METODOLOGIA PARA A GEOGRAFIA ESCOLAR EM UBERLÂNDIA - MG
Abstract
The present work is focused on understanding the methodological dynamics to teach geography at school through gameficated didactics, since the teaching-learning process needs to expand its communication and narrative capacity to reach everyday life and school reality. In this sense, this article proves to be important because it presents a proposal prepared by the trainees of the Supervised Internship course of the Geography Degree Course at the Federal University of Uberlândia, Campus Santa Mônica, with the main objective of building a more reflective geographic pedagogy , critical and dynamic based on the theme of globalization. The proposal was carried out with globalization as a criticism, not as a simple heap of economic issues, since this theme was presented as an approximation between the political sense and the great scenarios of contradictions. The game used was a bingo, called Geographic Bingo, with questions and answers on the theme Globalization, defined by professor Kely Cristina dos Santos Lopes, Supervisor of the internship at Escola Municipal Profª Cecy Cardoso Porfírio. This was a playful proposal to use games as a methodology for teaching Geography applied to 9th grade students; thus, the game proved to be a valid pedagogical activity for motivating students.
